God speaks to the deaf

When you keep quiet and listen
When you ignore poverty's screams and crimes shouts,
You can hear him.
When you sit and listen and block out depressions voice, pains whisper
You can hear him.
When you silence sadness' whimper
You can hear him.
You will hear his words of guidance, comfort and love.
It is only when you decide to ignore the world's speech and have a conversation with God.
It is only once you are silent, once you are still that God can be heard.

It is those few minutes just before you fall asleep that God tries to speak to you.
It is when you are alone in a quiet and still bath tub that he tries to talk to you.
It is when you are in a queue and have noone to talk to and nothing to look at that he tries to talk to you.
It is at those times when you wake up in the middle of the night from "insomnia" that he calls your name. He knows your, name.

But you block your ears to him and tell yourself he is not there.
You say he is fictional because you are in pain,
You say he is not real because you are hungry
and yet if you made time to stop complaining and just LISTEN
you would hear him.

When things look up you turn your back against him
and when things are bad you blame him.
STOP and listen to him.
He loves you and knows you
He is all around you, you just need to see, hear and talk to him.
