My heart skipped a beat last night

I saw you and knew you.
I introduced myself to you and all you did was stare
It was at that moment that I knew,you gave me your heart
You searched the room for me looking for my gaze
You could not concerntrate without knowing that I was okay
But you don't know that I walk with Christ,coz if you did
You would not worry about me

I watched you from a distance and when I saw that you were looking
For me,I knew you did not know that I was hidden behind Christ's name.
Desperate I saw you search in desperation for my eyes
I looked at you as you panicked when you no longer knew I was there
You became sad when I was not in the same room as you
But my dear,the only thing you had to do in order to find me
Was to look for my father.

But you did not know that,so you got lost
You are lost,the only way for you to find your way is to kneel down and pray
It's a decision you and only you can make.
I would like to choose for you,but we have the gift of free will
I can't choose life and light for you,you must.
You could not find me because you do not know about my dad
With your eyes your love was mine,you showed me affection
But I wish you knew my father,coz if you did.
