Diva-licious!

I know a woman who wears so much make up she thinks it will make her someone else.
Her base is so thick and lips so red she hopes noone will see the truth beneath it all.
She uses her mascara to hide her tears from the night before .
And her high tweeze to cover up the morning pain.
She uses her blush in an attempt to pretend as though she's happy.
Her eyeliner is a disguise from the world she knows is cruel.
She hopes noone will recognise her if she wears a bigger brazilian weave.
Her clothes are so tight noone will see the real weight of the world she carries around.
The woman I know paints a shield of strenght on her face every morning
Only to have it washed off at the memory of her past.
The world thinks she's strong. And yet she knows she's scared.
She knows that Olay,L'oreal,Maybeline and Clarins can never
return her childhood innocence.
